Necessity breeds Invention
Mecate, Mecarte, Tomatoe, tomato.... I am not interested in entering into the debate here. I know for sure that it is far and away my favorie rein style, and THIS has TOTALLY changed my multi- horse riding world!!
These custom straps feature a buckle that allows you to take your horse hair (or rope) mecate, and change it from one bridle to another in a matter of seconds!
So, if your more seasoned horse needs a tune up with your rough, tail hair twist, or, you need to put some time on your younger mount, you no longer have to unwind, and re wrap, your mecate and get down line, to switch from one set of rigging to another!
