To give a rough idea, simple Chinks with untooled yokes and standard fringe start about $600
A pair with custom Figure Carving Yoke detail and extended fringe (as shown) would be about $1100
For the shotgun Chaps, you would be looking from about $800 for a very basic design with untooled yokes,
The pair pictured would be $1200, with tooled yokes, fringe accent, conchos, and tooled tally book pocket.
Materials included:
- Yokes: Top quality Veg Tan Tooling Leather, hand dyed (even when untooled, this is the best leather for yokes)
- Main Body: Typically, we use a wax or oil finished chap split. Durability and flexibility are key, but we can also work with various leathers based on your needs
(....Rodeo Princesses have different needs than a rider who needs English Schooling Chaps...after all!)
Due to the nature of the materials and process, each product is a work of art, and no two will be exactly alike.
All Chaps (Chinks, Armitas, Shotgun, Batwing, Schooling) are custom made for you and your specific needs.
Beginning with your measurements, we work with our proprietary and field tested patterns to create your ideal product!
